Who it’s for: This class is designed for women and partners intending to have a focus on a vaginal delivery.
Details: The class will help you prepare for a vaginal birth with or without an epidural. Using handouts, videos and instruction, you’ll learn about all aspects of vaginal birth.
Specific topics covered include:
Routine hospital procedures: Breathing, massage, and relaxation techniques for a vaginal birth.
The postpartum period Cesareans.
The postpartum period
A tour of the hospital when taking a class at a Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.
Fee is $175 per couple.
