Student Labor Doula Package

Staff will contact you via email within 72 hrs. to confirm and begin coordinating interviews. You will have the option to interview with our labor doulas and choose a primary doula and a backup doula.

Student doulas have attended less than 10 births and are working to attain their Labor Doula Certification.

These doulas have attended Momease Childbirth classes, read several pregnancy-related books and written reviews on their birth experiences. As a part of their training, they have shadowed 2 to 3 births with a Senior Doula to enhance their birthing knowledge.

You, as our client, are assigned a student doula as your primary doula. Our other student doulas may relieve the primary after 24-hours of labor support.

• Student Doulas are offered on a sliding scale from $500 to $1000, depending on the client’s financial ability
• Student Doula Package: Three prenatal visits, two virtual and one in person and one in person postpartum visit

If a planned C-section is required before labor begins, the student doula will not be allowed to attend your planned C-section.
