Our mission is to deliver easy-to-understand, practical and evidenced-based support so parents can fully immerse themselves in the excitement, joy and humor of their transitions to parenthood. Our materials and curriculum are developed by our medical advisory board and certified childbirth educators using the latest, peer-reviewed maternity resources and reference materials.
We have more than a decade of experience as childbirth educators, labor doulas, and postpartum doulas. We understand how to frame realistic patient expectations about protocols and care, because we have served in a number of hospitals across metropolitan Washington.

We offer quality, evidence-based instruction from peer-reviewed reference materials. Our low C-Section rates, VBAC, and delivery without medication consistently exceed national and regional averages. Our Labor Doulas are the most experienced in the region and routinely work alongside midwives and physicians.
MedStar Washington Hospital Center
Expectant parents are welcome to come to Medstar Washington Hospital for a brief walking tour of our spacious Labor & Delivery suites and private mother-baby rooms.
The tour is designed to introduce families to our facility for a more comfortable birthing experience. For safety reasons, the tour is limited to adults and children 14 years and older.
Pre-registration is required.
- Parking: Please park at Blue Parking.
- The tour guide will meet you in the main lobby. When you enter the main lobby there is a waiting area to your left where the TV is located.
- Shuttle buses are available across from the main entrance under the blue shelter.
- Please note this is limited to 20 people (10 couples)
George Washington Hospital Center
Georgetown Hospital Center
Expectant parents are welcome to come to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Center for a brief walking tour of our spacious Labor & Delivery suites and private mother-baby rooms.
The tour is designed to introduce families to our facility for a more comfortable birthing experience. For safety reasons, the tour is limited to adults and children 14 years and older.
Pre-registration is required.
- Please park in one of the hospital garages.
- The tour guide will meet you in the Hospital Main Entrance. When you enter the main lobby there is a waiting area to your right
- Please note this is limited to 20 people (10 couples). One enrollment is for two people
