Infant Massage Class
Who it’s for:
This class is for expectant parents, new parents, family members or anyone else wanting to learn about infant massage. If you already have a baby, the class is perfect for babies 6 weeks to 6 months.
Details:
Rub a tummy…stroke a foot…bond with your baby! This two-hour class will introduce you and your baby to the gentle art of massage. Babies who are massaged are often calmer and suffer less from colic. Knowing how to properly massage your baby will build confidence in your ability to respond appropriately to your baby’s cries and needs. For working moms and dads, massage can offer a relaxing way to reconnect with your baby at the end of the day.
The class instruction will cover:
- Specific benefits of infant massage
- How to massage your infant’s whole body, including face, torso, limbs, back, etc.
An experienced massage therapist and teacher will conduct the class. Bring baby, a blanket and a towel.
Sleep Management for Newborns
Sleep Management for Newborns – This class is led by a Pediatric Sleep Expert, who will help parents learn how to soothe and calm their infants to help encourage sleep. The class will cover infant sleep cycles as well as day and night schedule expectations. Sleep training will be discussed including when it is age appropriate to begin various aspects of sleep training. Happiest Baby on the Block techniques will be reviewed and demonstrated, including swaddling.
Different types of commercial swaddles will be reviewed and discussed, including when particular types of swaddles and sleep suits are age and developmentally appropriate. This class will help provide parents with the knowledge and skills they need to produce better sleep for their newborn as well as themselves.
Sleep Management 4.5 to 12 Months
This class is for families who have survived the first three months of their newborn but are unable to help their babies consolidate sleep for more than one or two hours. This age group should be able to sleep 11-12 hours at night, This is a gentile approach to helping your baby get the sleep (s)he needs without listening to what seems like hours of crying until the baby is exhausted and so are the parents. This class will capitalize on the baby’s inherent need for sleep. Provide the parent with a concrete plan to assist their baby in sleeping in the crib, going to sleep at a regular time, staying a sleep through the night.
Infants are wonderful little blessings, but they don’t come with an instruction manual. Any time that you can take advantage of learning opportunities for a newborn, it’s a chance you shouldn’t pass up.

This private class is taught either at the client’s home or office. It is a two-hour American Heart Association course that teaches life-saving infant and child CPR skills.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
Who it’s for:
The 4-hour Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Please get in touch with your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course for your job specifications.
Details:
Students receive a two-year course completion card upon successfully completing the course.
