Baby Massage Workshop!
Who It’s For
This workshop welcomes expectant parents, new parents, family members, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning about infant massage! It is specifically designed for babies who are between one month and ten months old. Participants will also receive valuable information on how to continue practicing massage techniques as their baby grows and develops.
Details
During this 90-minute workshop, participants will learn how to gently share the art of massage with their babies! In addition to practicing massage strokes for the full body, special techniques for tummy issues and baby exercises will also be introduced. Participants will receive pictures and explanations of the strokes, information on crying and behavioral states, and a bottle of cold-pressed vegetable oil.
Massage is a gift that leads to many benefits such as deepened bonds, improved sleep, and a sense of calmness for all!
Workshop Overview
In this joyful 90-minute gathering, participants are invited to lovingly introduce their babies to the soothing art of massage. Participants will explore whole-body nurturing strokes, learn comforting techniques to ease tummy troubles, and engage in simple, playful exercises together.
Workshop Components
At the beginning of the workshop, participants will receive a bottle of cold pressed vegetable oil and given instructions on how to use it. Everyone will comfortably congregate in a circle on the floor. After introductory activities, the massage strokes will be demonstrated and explained by the instructor as the participants practice them with their babies.
After the initial massage, there will be a short break for both babies and caregivers. Following the break, special tummy strokes and baby exercises will be taught and massage strokes will be reviewed. The workshop then provides time for discussion and questions, allowing participants to share experiences and thoughts.

Nancy Chang is a CEIM (Certified Educator of Infant Massage) certified through Infant Massage USA. She is very passionate about teaching infant massage and loves seeing all of the incredible experiences that are shared amongst all participants!
Additional Notes
Please bring blankets and pillows or anything that will bring comfort for the babies!
Sleep Management for Newborns
Sleep Management for Newborns – This class is led by a Pediatric Sleep Expert, who will help parents learn how to soothe and calm their infants to help encourage sleep. The class will cover infant sleep cycles as well as day and night schedule expectations. Sleep training will be discussed including when it is age appropriate to begin various aspects of sleep training. Happiest Baby on the Block techniques will be reviewed and demonstrated, including swaddling.
Different types of commercial swaddles will be reviewed and discussed, including when particular types of swaddles and sleep suits are age and developmentally appropriate. This class will help provide parents with the knowledge and skills they need to produce better sleep for their newborn as well as themselves.
Sleep Management 4.5 to 12 Months
This class is for families who have survived the first three months of their newborn but are unable to help their babies consolidate sleep for more than one or two hours. This age group should be able to sleep 11-12 hours at night, This is a gentile approach to helping your baby get the sleep (s)he needs without listening to what seems like hours of crying until the baby is exhausted and so are the parents. This class will capitalize on the baby’s inherent need for sleep. Provide the parent with a concrete plan to assist their baby in sleeping in the crib, going to sleep at a regular time, staying a sleep through the night.
Infants are wonderful little blessings, but they don’t come with an instruction manual. Any time that you can take advantage of learning opportunities for a newborn, it’s a chance you shouldn’t pass up.

Details:
This private class is taught either at the client’s home or office. It is a two-hour American Heart Association course that teaches life-saving infant and child CPR skills.
The class will cover:
- To Recognize Signs of Choking
- How to Prevent the Most Common Fatal Injuries
- How to Reduce the Risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
- Up-to-Date Infant CPR
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
Who it’s for:
The 4-hour Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Please get in touch with your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course for your job specifications.
Details:
Students receive a two-year course completion card upon successfully completing the course.

This class is taught by a Momease pet consultant, who will provide information on:
- Up-to-date procedures on how to introduce your pet to your new baby
- How to manage pets with a newborn
- Introducing pets to baby’s smell and sounds
- Becoming aware of your pet’s protective signs
- How to determine and manage the animal’s temperament with a baby
- This 90 minute class provides new parents with creative techniques to provide a healthy, safe and loving environment for parent, newborn and pet
Fee is $85 per couple.
